Paneer butter masala recipe.
Ingredients:
- 200 grams paneer, cubed
2 large onions, finely chopped
2 large tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 cup cream
- Salt, to taste
- Coriander leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When the seeds start to splutter, add the chopped onions and fry until they turn golden brown.
2. Add ginger and garlic paste and fry for a minute.
3. Add chopped tomatoes, salt, and all the spice powders (coriander, red chilli, turmeric, and garam masala) and mix well. Cover the pan and cook on low heat until the tomatoes are completely cooked and the oil separates from the mixture.
4. Add 1/2 cup water and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
5. Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down. Once it cools, blend it into a smooth paste.
6. Heat butter in a pan and add kasuri methi. Fry for a few seconds.
7. Add the blended tomato-onion mixture to the pan and mix well. Add paneer cubes and 1/2 cup cream. Mix gently and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes.
8. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
